Here's something interesting I found when reading Ezekiel 16:1-14. The Sovereign Lord is talking about Jerusalem, when she was old enough for love: "I spread the corner of my garment over you...I gave you My solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you. You became Mine." It will be interesting if anyone can shed further light on this custom of "spreading the corner of my garment over you". Sandra
