Themes

As promised, although a bit late, this post contains some suggested topics around which you can write about Ruth in preparation for our final session.

    Possibilities:
    1. Use these 5 words: faithfulness; kindness; integrity; protection; prosperity.
    2. Use this variation of 5 words: faithfulness; kindness; honor; safekeeping; redemption.
    3. Choose one of these 5 words and write about what the book of Ruth teaches us about it: Choose one of these 5 words and write about what the book of Ruth teaches us about it: family; gender; humility; loyalty; sadness.
    4. Choose one of these individual topics below:
    a. God's grace in the midst of difficult circumstances.
    b. What we learn about God in the book of Ruth, especially foreshadowing of Jesus' work of redemption.
    c. Ruth as a picture of chesed: steadfast love; or faithfulness born out of a sense of caring and commitment.
    d. Salvation.
    e. How then, are we to live?
